But who in there right mind can afford one of these things so ram and cpu power is the best we can do. Keeping up with the plugins is hard cause they must be writting the code for the latest systems so as you get a new plugin you need a need a bigger processor, its a catch 22. Windows xp is definatly the most stable for audio in the world of PC's (not including macs) at least it doesnt blue screen like 2000 at the drop of a hat.
